The SoundSteps product consists of 10 mats that respond to pressure by means of sound. Applying pressure can be done by stepping, jumping, sitting or simply pressing down on the mats! The wireless connection between the mats and the base unit extends to 60 metres. Choosing a game is very easy: insert a game card (showing an image of the game in question) into the base unit and start playing! The SoundSteps product offers a wide variety of games, including thematic sounds, easy maths and language exercises as well as musical chairs. Many of the games leave room for imagination and personal creativity, i.e. so-called 'open-ended play'.
