The SoundSteps product consists of 10 mats that respond to pressure by means of sound. Applying pressure can be done by stepping, jumping, sitting or simply pressing down on the mats! The wireless connection between the mats and the base unit extends to 60 metres. Choosing a game is very easy: insert a game card (showing an image of the game in question) into the base unit and start playing! The SoundSteps product offers a large range of games, designed to tie in closely with the (standard and special needs') educational curriculum. Activities can be played individually or in group. Many of the games leave room for imagination and personal creativity, i.e. so-called 'open-ended play'. What is unique about this product is the combination of modern technology and a simple design, resulting in an interactive toy that can be used independently from the age of 3!

SoundSteps combines education, exercise and games. It can be used in standard schools as well as in special needs' schools. NYOYN developed the games in close cooperation with the target groups, so that they tie in closely with the key objectives of primary education. NYOYN offers games in the fields of maths, language, topography/geography, general knowledge and movement education. Special games have also been developed for use in special needs' schools. Examples include practising numbers, recognising colours, developing motor skills and action/reaction games. The 'open' structure of many of the games allows the children and/or teacher to set the pace and level.

Social interaction, exercise and fun are key. Thanks to our close cooperation with our 'field labs' we are in an excellent position to continually develop games that tie in well with the wishes of the target groups.

By using high-quality components such as an aluminium frame and 8 mm-thick safety glass, the Nebula Strip can certainly stand rough handling. The Nebula Strip consists of 1,344 RGB LED lights, as many sensors and built-in stereo speakers. All this in a design that is only about 2 inches (5 cm) thick! The Nebula Strip measures 2.5 m in width and 1 m in height and features a bracketing system, which allows for easy and flat wall-mounting. This results in a high-quality look. The Nebula Strip is operated by means of a separate control unit. This unit can be installed in various places, depending on your specific requirements.

Though the Nebula Strip features many modern high-quality technologies, it still remains easy to operate. The games are self-explanatory and can be changed with a single push of the button or automatically. No explanations required; anyone can get stuck in and play!
